The thing about Grace Van Dien is she comes from a family that’s super into acting. Her dad is Casper Van Dien, and her grandma is also an actress, so it’s honestly kinda wild how much acting is just part of her life. I remember in an interview she said she actually wanted to be a writer first, but then got cast in a film her dad directed and started to love acting for real after that.

From what I've seen, having her family in the business probably made it easier for her to get started, but it also means people expect a lot of her, which is a lot of pressure. She seems pretty chill about it though, and likes making her own choices, like switching to streaming. I feel like her family gives her a sense of what’s normal and what’s not, especially after that bad thing with the producer happened. If it were me, I’d totally want my family around for support too!
