Honestly, I think jesutega onokpasa just got really frustrated, and I actually get where he was coming from. Imagine publicly backing someone, always defending them on TV, and then watching things just get worse—like more insecurity and the economy crashing. I’ve seen people in my own family get fed up with politicians they once liked, so it doesn’t surprise me at all. According to what I read, Onokpasa was really vocal about supporting Tinubu and was even part of the APC campaign. But when Tinubu won, Onokpasa felt like the problems got even worse, and he thought Tinubu ignored his loyal friends and supporters. So, he just snapped, went on TV, and called Tinubu a total failure.
It’s kind of wild, but sometimes the ones who supported you the hardest are the ones who feel most betrayed when things don’t change—or get way worse. I actually respect people who say what they feel, even if it’s a 180 from their old views. I’ve done the same with people in my own life, honestly. If you feel let down, why hide it? He called it like he saw it.
