The thing about biodun oyebanji is, he actually gets along with people way better than any of the other governors before him. I remember reading how all the past Ekiti governors couldn't get a second term for all kinds of reasons: fights in the party, court stuff, even being impeached. Oyebanji, though, seems super chill and willing to talk to everyone—even the old governors he beat!

From what I've seen and read, he calls up ex-governors for advice, tries to keep peace, and does a lot of projects that people actually notice. People like him because he includes them; even guys who might have wanted his job before are now just like, "fine, let him keep going."

I'm thinking it's this way he talks to everyone and takes advice that makes people trust him more. Everyone in the APC—even some from other parties—kind of quietly agree he's not as drama-filled as the ones before. That's a big switch from Ekiti's old politics. Will he actually break the one-term curse? We'll have to see, but honestly, he has a way better shot if he keeps acting chill and working hard.
