People keep saying Fubara’s way different from other politicians because he doesn’t act like he’s above everyone else. Like, even the housewarming thing in Elele—he showed up just to hang out and celebrate, not to grab attention or make a big speech. I feel like most governors in Nigeria always pull up with huge security, a line of cars, and lots of drama, but with Fubara, it’s chill. He’s also not known for showing up just for the cameras during sad events or tragedies, which is what people kinda expect from some big names. Even comments online say you can just tell he’s not faking or trying too hard. That sort of humility is rare in politics, and it gets people talking because everyone’s tired of flashy politicians who care more about looking good than actually doing something real. If you ask me, it’s kinda refreshing compared to the usual scene.
