Honestly, Mike Maignan is just a beast in goal at AC Milan. Every time I watch him play, I notice how he’s always super quick to react and isn’t scared to make big saves, even in tough situations. He pretty much saved Milan a ton of points last season just by his shot-stopping, and that’s not something you see every day. I remember when Milan played against some of the strongest teams, and Maignan kept them in the match with insane reflex saves.

On top of that, he’s got this crazy confidence and leadership vibe about him. He’s always yelling at defenders, telling them where to go, and he keeps the defense organized, which is why Milan have one of the better defenses in Serie A.

Also, people don’t talk about his passing enough. His ability to kickstart attacks from the back is sick. Stats show Milan’s defense is way better with him; they even struggled when he was injured. It’s honestly no surprise top clubs want him, because he’s kind of the full package as a keeper right now.
