What I’ve noticed is that everyone talks about Netflix Originals like Stranger Things or The Witcher. You kinda have to have Netflix just to not get left out when everyone’s talking about the newest show. Another thing is, the app is easy to use and works on basically every screen: phones, laptops, TVs—you name it.

Plus, I think people like that you can watch stuff from all over the world, not just American shows, which you couldn’t do easily before. My friends love all the different types of content, whether it's anime, thrillers, or rom-coms. Some say other services are catching up, but Netflix still feels like the default to me. So yeah, it’s basically where everyone starts for streaming.
