What grabbed me about the Madden movie is that it’s way more than just another boring sports film with a bunch of football action scenes. It's telling the story of John Madden but also gets into how he worked with Raiders owner Al Davis and what they meant to the NFL. What sets it apart is that it’s gonna show Madden’s life after coaching, like how he became this super famous broadcaster and later turned into the face of the Madden NFL video games, which everyone I know pretty much grew up playing.
Apparently, it gives you a look at his whole deal with Davis—how they worked and butted heads while making the Raiders a big deal, not just on the field but in the way the NFL works overall. It’s got a kind of dramatic twist since both Madden and Davis were known for being stubborn and really intense. If you’re a fan of sports movies that focus on the people instead of just the games, I think this one’s gonna be fun to watch—my friends are mostly interested to see how they handle the video game stuff too!
