Honestly, the whole thing with Babcock University and Oladipupo Siwajuola is kinda wild. From what I've read, Babcock expelled him not for just one thing, but a bunch of seriously bad stuff. He was caught up in drug peddling, using weird fetish materials, impersonating others, gambling, and even doing internet scams like 'Yahoo Yahoo Plus.' That's a crazy list. I think what made it even more controversial is his mom went on social media, blasting the school for negligence when he went missing, but it turns out he actually snuck out by himself, even disguising himself to leave campus. Later, when he came back, he just admitted to buying ritual soap and doing all this shady stuff.
From my perspective, Babcock University is trying to show they're not soft on crime or crazy behavior because it's a private school and they have to protect their rep. But at the same time, some people feel like schools should do more to help struggling students instead of just kicking them out. Seeing both sides, it still feels intense that one student could be mixed up in so many messed up things, and the university had to make a statement. If you're thinking about student life at Babcock, you'll definitely want to know how strict they are about the rules.
