Honestly, sometimes it feels like countries spend tons of cash on hosting things like the World Cup or Olympics just to look cool on TV, but then say they don’t have enough for stuff like food programs. If all that hype and money went into food security, I bet a lot more people would actually have enough to eat and maybe even better health. I remember reading about how billions get spent just building stadiums, hotels, and advertising for sports events. Imagine if governments across the world put that kind of investment into supporting farmers, food banks, or school meal programs instead. People would probably start actually solving hunger for real, not just talking about it every year. Of course, politicians love the attention that big sporting events get, but I think feeding your people is way more important than a soccer match. If governments switched focus, maybe there'd be fewer hungry kids and more people healthy enough to even play sports at all! I would totally support that kind of world, for real.
