Honestly, it looks like Xabi Alonso's aiming to shake things up in the attack department at Real Madrid. Those rumors about him wanting Lautaro Martínez and Viktor Gyökeres are pretty wild!
He probably sees that a strong '9' is needed, especially if players like Rodrygo and Brahim exit the scene. Imagine Lautaro from Inter with all his killer moves paired up with Madrid's current wingers, Mbappé and Vinicius. That could be insane!
Changing things up could be Alonso's way of asserting his style, proving he's not afraid to make bold moves like any top-notch new boss would. And even though transfers can be messy—like with club budgets and contract terms—Real's bigwigs like Florentino Pérez have enough clout to potentially seal these deals.
Xabi's decisions in recruitment and his game plan are bound to get the fans hyped, but only time will tell if it all pans out on the field.
