Oh, Josh Freese is seriously one of the most busy drummers out there. Besides his time in Foo Fighters, he’s played for a ton of other big names. I remember first hearing about him with The Vandals, which is this punk band that’s just super energetic. Then he also did stuff with A Perfect Circle, which is way more intense and almost the opposite vibe.

He’s also rocked out with Nine Inch Nails, which is wild because their music is so different from Foo Fighters – it’s all dark and heavy. Plus, he’s done session work with people like Sting, Weezer, Devo, and even played on tons of pop and rock records. It honestly feels like everywhere I look, he’s behind a drum kit. I think that’s why people respect him so much; he can switch styles and still crush it.

In my opinion, Josh is one of those guys who just makes every band better. If I ever start a band, he’d be my dream drummer. He’s basically the superhero of drummers, showing up wherever there’s a set of drums and some chaos to create!
