Honestly, I think most people are hyped for 007 First Light game mainly because it’s finally giving us a new take on James Bond instead of just another movie game. I’ve read a bunch of comments from people who are tired of the same old Bond with cheesy one-liners, so seeing him as a rookie in MI6 sounds way more interesting. They’re mixing action, stealth (like Hitman), and it’s not tied to any actor or movie, so it feels fresh.

But I also noticed a few hardcore fans are kinda skeptical—like, what if a young Bond is boring compared to the badass spy we’re used to? I get that, but for me, watching Bond mess up and actually learn stuff could make it feel more real.

Maybe it won’t be for everyone, but if you want something new instead of the same old Bond, this sounds like a solid direction. I’m definitely curious to see if IO Interactive can pull it off since they nailed Hitman so well.
