I’ve always wondered this too, because you’d think once someone’s locked up forever, people would move on. But with el chapo guzman, it's like he turned into a legend or something. I think it happens because his story is so crazy - starting out from nothing, becoming the boss of the Sinaloa Cartel, escaping from prison (like, twice!), and doing all these Hollywood-level stunts. That stuff sticks in people’s heads.
Plus, every time something happens with his family or the cartel, his name pops up again in the news or even in songs and shows. There’s that whole fascination with "outlaw" types, especially when governments are negotiating deals or more drama comes up, like his son’s family getting into the US. So yeah, I guess people just love wild stories about crime and power. Honestly, the hype might calm down someday, but for now, it feels like everyone still wants to talk about el chapo guzman, no matter what.
