Honestly, a lot of folks are starting to wonder if Atiku Abubakar is helping or hurting the opposition right now. From what I've seen, some people feel like Atiku is so set on challenging President Tinubu—especially with court cases and statements calling the government a disaster—that he's making the political scene even more tense. Elder statesmen like Onitiri literally warned him to chill out because all the fighting could make Nigeria more unstable, especially with another big election coming up in 2027.
I've noticed that some opposition members are now divided on even which party to use. Like, some want to use the ADC, but others are pushing for a totally new party. It's almost like everyone's busy fighting inside the opposition instead of focusing on the main goal. Honestly, it reminds me of when people on a soccer team argue over which strategy to use and completely forget they're supposed to score goals. So yeah, a lot of people think Atiku Abubakar might want to focus more on unity if the opposition actually wants a shot at changing things in 2027.
