From what I've seen, Cole Palmer got the number 10 shirt at Chelsea because he's totally stepped up and become the main guy for them. It's not just about the shirt, either—number 10 is a big deal at Chelsea. That's the shirt Eden Hazard used to wear, and Palmer has said before that Hazard is one of his idols. I think it's cool that Cole's getting this chance, but honestly, there might be a little pressure too. The last guy who wore 10, Mykhailo Mudryk, is in a rough spot right now with a ban, so Palmer's getting his shot because of that too.

To me, it feels like Chelsea is putting a lot of trust in Palmer, especially since he's only been there a couple of seasons. He's had some really good stats too—15 goals and 8 assists in 37 matches last season is no joke! If Palmer keeps playing like that, I think he could totally live up to the number. Honestly, it's exciting to see a young player get handed such a legendary shirt. I remember when Hazard ruled the pitch, and now Palmer has a chance to make his own mark!
