Honestly, it blew my mind, too! 'The Marvels' seemed like it was gonna be huge given it's part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and all. But apparently, it ended up being one of those unexpected flops at the box office.

From what I've read, the movie didn't quite deliver the bam-pow-wow that Marvel fans were hoping for. It's weird, right? Maybe the storyline was a bit too complex or folks just weren't vibing with the characters swapping places all the time. I remember watching it and feeling kinda lost in some parts.

Plus, even though it had all the Marvel flair, like cool effects and action, the reviews said it felt flat compared to other Marvel hits. And let's be real, if something gets mixed reviews, it kinda does a nose-dive in sales.

I remember hearing from my pals that a lot of people were waiting for it to hit streaming rather than hit the theaters. So yeah, it's a strange case for a superhero movie, but hey, not every MCU flick can be a smashing success!
