I swear, when Brighton plays Liverpool, the fans turn up the volume to 11. From what I've seen and talked about with some Brighton supporters, it's mostly because beating Liverpool is just a massive deal. Liverpool's one of those clubs that everyone knows around the world, right? So when you're a Brighton fan and your team actually gets a win or even just puts up a good fight, it kinda feels like you're showing the whole world what you can do.
There's also this weird vibe where Brighton always seems to give Liverpool a harder time than some other "big" clubs do, so it makes the games more exciting and the fans just wanna be as loud as possible. It's not like a super old big rivalry or anything, but the tension and hype around these games just keeps growing every season.
Plus, after stuff like that 3-2 win, fans really believe that anything can happen when the Seagulls play Liverpool next. So yeah, it's the challenge, the drama, and the dream of showing up one of the biggest teams out there. Makes sense why the fans make it a full-on event every time!
