Honestly, it's kinda wild how loyal star citizen players are even after all the upgrade backlash. I've been playing on and off for years, and even when people get mad about stuff like expensive upgrades or bugs, they still come back. I think it's a mix of loving the huge space adventure vibe and hoping the devs will finally get it perfect. When you've spent a bunch of money or time on ships and gear, you don't just want to walk away. Plus, the community itself is almost like a club—I've made some of my best gaming friends there. People love joking about how the game will never finish, but deep down most of us want to see it succeed. There’s always this hope that the next update will be the one that really changes things. So yeah, even when we're complaining, we're still there, waiting for the next cool thing… and probably arguing about it in chat!
