I totally get why people ask what the big deal is about bitcoin price in USD hitting a new all time high. To be real with you, if you’re not investing or trading, it might not change your day much. But I’ve noticed that when bitcoin goes up a lot, suddenly everyone around me starts talking about crypto, like at school or with my cousins. People who never cared about investing want in because they don’t want to miss what looks like easy money.

But, just because the price goes up doesn’t mean everyone wins. I’ve seen my uncle FOMO into bitcoin at a high price and then freak out when it dropped again. And when bitcoin gets that much attention, sometimes grocery or game stores start asking if they should accept crypto, or you see more crypto ads all over social media. Still, for most people, unless you actually own bitcoin or some business takes it, hitting an all time high can be just random noise. So unless you’re holding some bitcoin or want to get in, it probably doesn’t matter that much to your daily life, but it sure does get people talking.
