Are Atletico Madrid really in danger of missing out on signing Theo Hernandez since they haven't paid enough and Al Hilal offered way more cash?

Yeah, it's looking messy with that Theo Hernandez transfer. From what I've heard, Atletico Madrid really want him back, since their current left-backs just aren't cutting it, but they're not coming up with the money AC Milan wants. Al Hilal from Saudi Arabia put down a way bigger offer, like they just threw money at the problem, but Theo apparently would rather play for Atletico if they can match the price. The thing is, Atletico's kind of stuck because they spent heavy last season but didn't win the league or cups, so cash isn't easy now. I remember reading how Theo is just waiting for Atletico to step up, but time's running out and if they don't, he's probably packing for Saudi. It's just crazy how top players can get shipped off somewhere random if clubs can't find the cash. I've seen this happen with other teams too and it always feels a bit unfair to the player. Transfers these days feel more about business than football, honestly.
