From what I've seen, there aren't any special laws in Nigeria that only protect FC players' privacy online, but players are still covered by Nigeria's basic data protection laws, like the NDPR (Nigerian Data Protection Regulation). I remember reading how sites like Flashscore have privacy policies with all these cookies and ways they use data, so technically Nigerian players' info is handled the same as regular users. But, FC players usually get more attention, so their data or images might be out there a lot more, which can get kinda wild when you're famous.

My personal opinion? I feel like Nigeria should make stricter rules for athletes, because they're in the public eye and people can use their info the wrong way. Right now, if a player thinks their data's being messed with, they could complain or even sue, but they have to follow regular laws like any regular person. It'd be awesome if Nigeria made laws just for athletes to keep their private lives a bit more private online, cause being a superstar shouldn't mean you have to give up all your privacy!
