I've gone through all the drama with Netflix changing the sharing rules lately, and it’s not as easy as it used to be. They really don’t want you handing out your Netflix subscription info to everyone anymore. For the Standard plan, you can add one person outside your household, but you pay extra for it. On Premium, it's two people max outside your house, also with a fee.

It’s actually kinda annoying because my cousin used to mooch off my account, but now she's gotta have her own or I have to pay more. Netflix says they made the profile transfer tool, so at least people like her can keep their history when they get kicked off. If you've got siblings in college or friends far away, sharing isn't as chill as it used to be, and they’re cracking down. My friend tried to get around it, but he just got those annoying emails about "your account is being used elsewhere." So yeah, you can still kinda share, but be ready to pay more, or everyone's gotta get their own. Kinda kills the old Netflix and chill vibe, honestly.
