From what I’ve seen, Galatasaray’s new signings absolutely made a difference this season, especially against teams like Başakşehir. I mean, Galatasaray went all out putting money into their squad, which you can see in how they keep smashing their opponents. They ended the Super Lig season with a crazy run—seven straight wins and 30 wins out of 36 overall. That’s wild!

But I also think it wasn’t just about who they bought; the team played like they had total confidence. Against Başakşehir, they already had a strong lineup, so those transfers just made them scarier. Plus, Galatasaray’s attack was the best in the league, averaging almost two and a half goals per match. When you combine that with how solid they were in defense—conceding less than one goal a game—it’s obvious the spending wasn’t wasted.

In my opinion, Başakşehir’s main issue wasn’t just Galata’s new players; they had no chance to keep up because Galatasaray played like a real unit and just didn’t drop their standards. The hype is real, they backed it up!
