Honestly, I get why Tottenham fans are thinking this could totally change everything for them. I mean, Spurs have always had this reputation for bottling it when it matters most. Everyone jokes about them missing their big chances, and it’s kinda haunted them since they last won a trophy in 2008. So, beating Man United in a Europa League final isn’t just another win—it actually feels huge.
If I was a Spurs fan, I’d be hyped too, because lifting a European trophy shuts up all the haters saying they’ll never win anything. The manager, Ange Postecoglou, has brought this new energy, and the team’s actually beaten United three times this year. Stopping that old choking pattern depends on starting to win games like this final. My friend who supports Spurs says just seeing his team raise a big cup would make him believe anything’s possible. It’s not just about the silverware, it’s about flipping the script on years of being the punchline. I totally get it.
