Do you think praying at the start of a new month actually matters, or is it just something people do out of habit without any real impact?

Alright, real talk—I always wondered if kicking off the month with a prayer actually does anything different. My grandma believes the whole vibe of her month comes from how she prays that first morning, but honestly, half the time I just want five more minutes of sleep. In my experience, starting the month with a prayer feels like a fresh start. It gets people hyped up and focused on what they want, like hoping for better grades or a chill month. But I’ve also noticed my friends who don’t do any special prayers still have good months, so I don’t think it’s magic. I think it matters if the prayer makes you feel better or helps you set goals. If not, it’s just another thing on your calendar. But everyone needs motivation sometimes, and if a prayer does that, then that’s cool. I guess as long as it changes your mindset, it’s not pointless. Otherwise, yeah, it’s just a routine for some people.
