Honestly, this is something me and my friends argue about all the time. Like, some people online are always saying Rick and Morty on Adult Swim is getting old and running out of ideas, but I think season 8 is actually kinda cool. They’re still surprising me with the weird stuff they come up with, like that episode where Summer and Morty get trapped in a Matrix world for 17 years – who even thinks of that?

I will say, though, the vibe is different now that the original voices for Rick and Morty are gone. It’s not the same, but it’s not bad either. Some episodes are more out there, and a couple even have more emotional stuff going on instead of just random nonsense. I actually appreciate that. I feel like the show’s changing with the times and not just repeating the same jokes.

Yeah sure, not every episode is the best one ever, but honestly, I’m still having fun watching it and I want to see what crazy stuff they try next. I guess it depends if you like the changes or you just want it to stay like the older seasons. For me, it’s still good!
