Yeah, Alex Warren is actually donating to charity from his Cheaper Than Therapy Tour, and it’s not just for bragging rights. For every ticket sold, a dollar goes to Camp Kesem, which is super cool because that’s a group that runs free camps for kids whose parents have cancer. I didn’t know about Camp Kesem at all until Alex mentioned it in his posts, so that was something new I learned. It’s through PLUS1, which I guess makes sure the donations actually get there and aren’t just some PR trick.

I honestly think it’s kind of rare for big internet personalities to actually put their money where their mouth is, so seeing Alex do it for something so specific is pretty awesome. In my opinion, if you’re going to buy a ticket anyway, it feels good knowing part of that goes to something real—especially when most tours just pocket all the cash.
