Does immigration recruitment in 2025 make things easier or harder for regular people trying to work in places like New Zealand or the US? I'm curious if the new rules really help or if it's kind of all talk.

Honestly, from what I've seen, immigration recruitment in 2025 is kind of a mixed bag. On one hand, there's a ton of talk about making it easier for skilled workers to move places like New Zealand and the US. But when you actually look at all the paperwork and rules, it's still pretty tough for most people. I remember my cousin trying to get a work visa for New Zealand. She had to prove she had a job lined up, enough money in the bank, and even show she wouldn’t take a job away from a local. None of that seemed easy.

Also, in the US, jobs want you to already have the ability to work without them sponsoring you, which is wild because a lot of skilled workers need sponsorship to even get in! These fancy job posts might sound cool but they’re mostly aimed at people who already tick all the boxes. It's almost like they want to look welcoming for international talent, but the doors aren’t exactly wide open. So, if you’re a regular person hoping to move for work, you’re still looking at a lot of stress and paperwork. Don’t let the fancy recruitment language fool you, it’s not a walk in the park, even in 2025. Hang in there though – sometimes persistence pays off.
