It's honestly kind of wild that some Republicans are not all-in on Trump's big beautiful bill, right? I'd think they'd be pumped if it's his big idea, but from what I've read, they're actually fighting over it a lot. The biggest thing is the money—the conservatives in the party think the spending cuts in the bill aren't tough enough, and they want way bigger cuts, especially in stuff like social programs. There's also drama about Medicaid. Some Republicans want to make people start working to keep Medicaid right away, but others say that's too extreme and even mean to people who need help.
And then, there's this weird argument about taxes for different states. Some Republicans from states with high local taxes want a bigger SALT deduction, but others don't see why that's fair. Basically, they're all trying to look out for different groups—some want to please their own voters, even if it makes Trump mad. I think it just goes to show that even when a bill is "big" and "beautiful," it's not always going to get everyone on the same team. Politics really is messy, and people are complicated!
