Honestly, 2025 has been pretty wild with all these conflicts going on around the world. Stuff like the Russia-Ukraine situation, Iran and Israel fighting, and even the crazy things in places like South Korea make everything really unstable. I have some friends who were just about to graduate, and they're freaking out because hiring froze in a bunch of companies that used to be super open to new grads. Even big companies in tech and trade are cutting back because of new tariffs and uncertainty.
I've noticed that some industries are actually hiring more though, like security, cybersecurity, and stuff tied to global aid. But if you're trying to get a job with international travel or in a company that deals with a lot of imports and exports, it's way tougher now than it was a few years ago. In my opinion, if you're a student graduating in 2025, it's smart to look for remote gigs or focus on skills that work even when companies are holding back on hiring. It’s not all bad, but yeah, the world being this tense messes up the job market for young people big time. Don’t give up—there are still opportunities if you know where to look!
