That's a good question! I've seen a lot of companies say they'll stay the same after a big boss leaves, but things always shake up. Arnold Ekpe isn't from the sugar business, he was a banking guy, so I kinda wonder if that means he'll want to change things, maybe make the company more about finance than farming.

Sometimes an outsider can make a company better because they see stuff differently, but other times it's hard because they don't know all the weird things about the sugar world. I think with Dangote Sugar, they've already got the factories and farms running, so Ekpe might put more focus on growing in other countries or making smarter investments. I mean, banking is all about risk and finding money, right?

Honestly, I think people expect things to change, especially after someone as big as Aliko Dangote steps down. But I've seen companies where nothing really changes, too, because the old guy is still around in the background. I guess we'll just have to see, but I'm hoping Ekpe brings in some cool ideas—and doesn't mess up what's already working!
