This is something I've always found cool about alex otti. He was this super big banker, like the CEO of Diamond Bank, and then somehow switched it up to become a major politician in Nigeria. I think his business background totally helped him with the politics thing because, from what I've seen, politics in Nigeria can be just as tough as running a big business.

People trust him and want his advice because he's pretty successful and has tons of experience with managing money and making big decisions. I actually remember my uncle talking about him years ago, saying how Otti's business smarts might actually clean up some of the mess in local government—at least that's what they hoped.

In my opinion, politicians with real-world business backgrounds often have better problem-solving skills and know how to make things work on a big scale. But there are always haters too, people who think he just bought his way into government with all the money he made from banking. Still, I kinda respect that he took such a big leap and is trying something new. Not a lot of people would have the guts to do that.
