So picking drivers in F1 is actually way more complicated than just picking the fastest person, which kinda sucks sometimes if you're a young driver trying to make it. Teams like Cadillac now say they want a "mix" of experienced folks and new talent, but a lot of rookies barely get a chance since the big teams love grabbing the same household names.

I've followed a bunch of F2 races, and there's always some super fast kid like Lindblad (who just dominated in Barcelona!)—but unless they bring a ton of sponsor cash or already have big connections, it’s so hard for them to get an F1 seat. Loads of talented drivers just get stuck in lower series or as test drivers.

It’s honestly kinda unfair, but money and reputation are still way too important. I wish teams took more chances on new racers cause fresh faces make the sport exciting and unexpected! Watching a rookie go up against legends is the best part for me, and I hope Cadillac or anyone new actually sticks to what they say about giving rookies real opportunities.
