From what I've seen, Nyesom Wike pretty much has a big presence in Abuja right now. A lot of people even call him the 'lion of the PDP' or the 'inspector general of FCT,' which sounds crazy but kinda shows how people see him as a powerful figure. Since becoming the FCT Minister, he's been all over the news for making moves and not being afraid to call people out or do stuff his own way. Like, he doesn’t hide how he feels or back down from fights.

But I wouldn’t say he has total control over everything. Sure, he can make calls about city planning or kickstart big projects, but Abuja is still run by a lot of different government agencies and the presidency, so there are limits. From what I've heard, it sometimes feels like his influence is pumped up a bit because he’s always so loud and public about his actions. But even my uncle in Abuja says administrators there have to keep an eye on Wike, because he’ll clap back if he thinks anyone’s dragging their feet. So, yeah, he’s definitely powerful as the FCT Minister, but it’s kinda balanced out by other politicians and officials doing their thing too.
