Honestly, I think age gets way too much attention sometimes. Just because Perisic is 36 doesn't mean he can’t ball out at the top level. The dude just smashed it at PSV last season with 16 goals and 11 assists, which is honestly better than some younger wingers pull off. And yeah, Barcelona loves hyping up their academy kids and young stars, but mixing in experienced players isn't a bad move, especially for a club trying to get back on top.

Perisic brings not just skills but also this big-game mentality and flexibility, which young players can learn from. Plus, it’s not like he’d cost much, since it’s a free transfer.
