Honestly, I've always heard people say Ahmadu Bello University is one of the best for law, but if you look closely, there are some things to think about. The law faculty at ABU has been around for ages and it's definitely respected, especially if you want a government job or to work in northern Nigeria. But I've had friends complain that the school is sometimes super overcrowded, and some classrooms are kinda falling apart. On the other hand, people still come from all over the country because the teachers are smart and really know their stuff, and ABU law grads seem to land good positions in government and courts. I guess it kind of depends on whether you care more about the school's name, the connections, or actually having the best facilities. ABU has a history and reputation that opens doors, but if you're after brand new classrooms and fancier tech, there might be better options out there now like UNILAG or OAU. Still, in the legal scene, ABU is huge. If you want a shot in government or public policy, it's hard to beat. Just be ready for big classes and bring your own fan. That's what my cousin did!
