From what I've seen, things got a lot less confusing after that new deal with the Justice Department. As of now, people are saying you can legally buy a rare breed trigger, at least in most places in the U.S. But here's the weird part — even though that federal ban got dropped, some states still have their own laws banning triggers that make guns shoot faster. So if you live in California or New York, for example, you probably still can't get one without risking serious trouble.
My cousin actually called a gun shop about it a couple days ago, and the shop owner said they’re waiting to see if there’s going to be any more changes to the laws. It’s honestly risky to jump in right away because it feels like the rules keep changing.
So yeah, you can probably buy one now, but you really gotta check your state laws or talk to a gun lawyer before spending your money. It beats finding out the hard way in court!
