Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Croatia ended up being the next major business hotspot in Europe. I've seen so many people talking about it, especially after stuff like the World Cup qualifiers and its rising tourism numbers. The country has a sweet location right on the Adriatic, so it's easy for trade and shipping, and it's actually starting to get more attention from investors who are kinda over the usual Spain or Italy scenes.
Plus, the tech scene has been growing. Some of my friends even looked at relocating there because the startup costs are lower than in a lot of western countries. There's still some red tape with government stuff, and not every business would fit in, but with all the eyes on them now, especially after Croatia's sports teams have done well, more companies might get curious and give it a shot.
From my experience, when a place gets trendy for tourism and sports, the business boom is usually right behind. It just takes some bold people willing to be the first to really try. I think there's a good chance Croatia could surprise the world pretty soon.
