So, I've been watching all the talk around Dan Bongino, and to be honest, it feels like people are split. Some folks say he's actually doing something at the FBI now that he's deputy director, since he comes from an NYPD and Secret Service background and isn't just another career DC dude. He talks big about bringing accountability and fixing old problems, especially stuff that started under James Comey. But then you have others who say it's just another political story, like the new heads are trying to make headlines and get people riled up before elections. I think what makes it messy is that Bongino's way more vocal and blunt than most FBI leaders. That can help push changes, but it also brings in a ton of drama, like we've seen with this Comey situation. From what I've seen, he really does care about the agency's image and wants things to be more honest. But at the same time, every big demo in DC turns political, so sometimes it's hard to tell what's real change and what's just for show. I guess we'll have to see if things actually improve or if it's just more of the same old news cycles.
