Honestly, I've never heard about the FCTA sealing a major political party's office before, especially something as huge as the PDP headquarters. Usually, they go after businesses and regular buildings for stuff like unpaid rent or taxes, but going straight for a national party seems out of the ordinary. From the news, it seems like they also closed other properties the same week, but the PDP thing really caught everyone's attention because it's so public and political.

In my experience watching Nigerian politics, stuff like this barely happens to the big parties, especially without someone higher up stepping in quickly. This time, even after the president apparently told them to unseal the properties, the FCTA still left the PDP headquarters locked up. That makes it feel extra suspicious, like there might be something personal happening behind the scenes.

So, no, this isn’t normal at all. It makes a lot of people wonder if rules are being used as a tool in political fights. I think if the government wants people to trust them, they need to treat everyone the same, not just go after the businesses who can’t fight back. The drama just gets bigger when political parties are involved.
