Is it possible that Ecuador is a stronger team than Brazil in World Cup qualifying, and should people be talking more about Ecuador's rise instead of Brazil's supposed dominance?

I seriously think people need to start giving Ecuador more credit this year instead of just assuming Brazil will always be the favorite. I mean, Ecuador's sitting second place in the qualifiers with 23 points—two more than Brazil! That's not just luck, they've actually been super consistent, even with top players like Enner Valencia sometimes being injured. Brazil, on the other hand, seems way more shaky than usual. They've only won one of their last four games, which is super rare for them. I've always grown up hearing people say Brazil is unbeatable, but times change and right now, Ecuador's proving they can actually go toe-to-toe with the giants. If you look at recent performances and the way Ecuador plays, especially at home, it's not wild to think they could be the favorites, at least for this qualifying cycle. So yeah, if people are still doubting Ecuador, maybe they just haven't been paying attention!
