So right now, James Comey isn’t working directly in law enforcement or government anymore, at least as far as big official jobs go. After he was fired from the FBI, he didn’t jump into another government role like a lot of people thought he might. I’ve seen him pop up on TV news shows and even do interviews at events—like the one with Nicolle Wallace, which was all over the news recently.

Now, instead of being in the middle of government stuff, he’s more of a public figure and speaker. He writes books and talks about law, justice, and politics. Honestly, he pops up whenever something big happens with the FBI or major legal stuff, because everyone wants to know his opinion. But he’s not chasing criminals or running operations anymore from what I can tell. He just seems to, like, comment on things and share what it was like back in the day. I'd rather have his job now than when he had to deal with all that FBI drama! But who knows, maybe he’ll pop up somewhere official again someday.
