Okay, so here’s what I think about Sean Duffy as Transportation Secretary: I get that people are skeptical because politicians always make big promises. It’s easy to say you care about fixing airports or making things safer, but actually getting stuff done is way harder. From what I watched and read, Duffy isn’t just keeping things status quo—he actually points out how broken the system is, like the super old towers at tiny airports and the insane lack of air traffic staff. That’s kind of bold by government standards, honestly. But then I’m like, does him calling this stuff out mean things are changing or is it more speeches? I haven’t seen any news about shiny new towers popping up or a bunch more hires (yet), so it still feels kinda slow. My cousin works at an airport and says nothing’s changed much so far. Still, I think Duffy being so blunt might get other politicians to stop ignoring the mess and maybe work faster. So while I’m not sure tons has changed right this second, it seems like he’s pushing for real stuff if people actually listen and do something.
