To be honest, I was a little suspicious at first when I saw Sirens on Netflix getting solid reviews. Sometimes it feels like critics just automatically love anything with a famous cast or a big-name producer like Margot Robbie. But after actually watching it, I gotta say, the show is pretty legit.

The critics on Rotten Tomatoes gave it like a 76% approval rating, and Metacritic rated it well too, so it's not just hype—there’s some legit praise. The acting is super solid. I mean, Julianne Moore as this totally intense billionaire boss? She nails it. Even the set design is all extra and rich-looking but on purpose, not just for show. I get why people are obsessed.

At the same time, I’ve read a few viewer comments saying the vibe might be too weird or uncomfortable for some folks—like, it’s definitely not a chill background show. So yeah, the reviews are mostly legit, but if you hate awkward rich people drama or power struggles, it might not be for you. I’d say trust the reviews but watch the trailer and see if the tone fits what you like.
