There are tons of cool hobbies that can make Eid Mubarak celebrations way more exciting, especially if you're hanging out with cousins or friends. Personally, every Eid, my friends and I try something different. One year we did a family cooking contest, and people got really creative with dishes from different countries, not just the usual biryani or kebabs. It was hilarious seeing my little cousin try to make Turkish delight from scratch—he basically invented a new kind of candy!
Another time, we set up a mini photo booth in the living room with silly Eid-themed props, and everyone got super into it. We even used the pics to make our own Eid greeting cards. Gaming tournaments, like FIFA or Mario Kart, are also a blast if you’ve got a lot of teenagers in the family.
And honestly, doing small acts of charity together as a group, like making goodie bags for local shelters, ended up being pretty fun, too. It’s more memorable when you make Eid about having fun and bonding, not just the food and gifts.
