From what I've seen, James Argent hasn’t exactly gone quiet after people started calling him shameless. He keeps saying in interviews and on social media that he’s really sorry and devastated by what happened with Nicoline, and he claims it wasn’t on purpose or anything. At the same time though, he’s also posting pics of himself performing at charity events and acting cheerful, which is what really set everyone off.

I remember scrolling through Instagram and seeing his posts right after the news broke and just thinking, wow, does he not care what people think? Honestly, it just comes off as weird to post happy moments when everyone’s expecting you to be more serious or show you’re actually sorry. Fans want to see some real emotion or at least a break from the spotlight for a minute.

So yeah, even though he says he’s remorseful, his actions haven’t matched up, and that’s why so many people are calling him shameless. To me, it’s just common sense to lay low for a bit, especially after something this serious.
