It's honestly kind of wild that YES is still out there hitting the road after 50+ years. I think what keeps them going is pretty simple: they've got diehard fans who never stop loving their music, and they just keep bringing a new spark to old songs. Like, my uncle saw them in the 90s and said they were crazy good even back then, and now there are new fans (like me) going to these shows for the first time.

YES keeps switching up their lineup but keeps Steve Howe and Geoff Downes, who are legends in prog rock, so it still feels legit. Their setlists are loaded with classics—Roundabout, Long Distance Runaround, all that—and the shows have this big, colorful vibe, especially with Roger Dean’s trippy art everywhere.

If you’re asking if YES is still worth seeing live, I’d say yeah. People say they sound super tight and still play with loads of energy, maybe even more because fans know all the words and go nuts for it. It’s one of those concerts where it doesn’t really matter how old the band is—the whole crowd feels the music. Totally worth it to go.
