Oh, Kubrick movies are honestly on a whole other level compared to regular movies. For me, what stands out is how every single shot looks like a piece of art. He’s super picky—like, he’d make actors do the same scene forever until it was just right. My uncle told me he once saw an interview where an actress was made to walk through a door 127 times! That’s wild.

The other thing is, his stories are never super simple. There are always weird twists, hidden meanings, and stuff that makes you think. Even the music he uses is different (like the creepy singing at the start of The Shining), and he doesn’t always explain everything. I remember watching 2001: A Space Odyssey and being so confused, but the visuals blew my mind, and I could not stop trying to figure it out.

People love his movies because you can watch them again and again and still spot new things. They’re famous because hardly anyone else makes movies that look and feel the way his do. If you want to watch something that actually surprises you, Kubrick movies are it.
