Honestly, I've noticed a ton of my friends who always ignored the old Rainbow Six Siege are now obsessed with Rainbow Six Siege X. I think a huge part of it is that the game just feels way more welcoming now. The original Siege was super sweaty and hard to get into if you missed the early days, but Siege X has this onboarding system that actually helps people learn how to play, instead of getting destroyed and quitting after two matches.

Plus, the visuals got a big upgrade, and everyone talks about the "Dual Front" mode. It's just a bigger, more team-based experience, and it's fun even if you’re not super competitive. Also, you can play a lot of stuff for free now, so people aren't scared to try it out. I think the way they made it open to new players totally changed how people look at the game. I've never seen so many different types of gamers playing it together—it's kinda wild. If you tried the old Siege and hated it, I really think you should check this new X version before judging it!
