Mamadou Sarr plays as a center back, which is basically the main defender in the middle of the defense. From what I've read and seen online, people rate him because he's super tall (like almost 2 meters!) and pretty calm on the ball for his age. He's not really known for scoring goals, but as a defender, that's fine. He got a bunch of caps for France youth teams, which means scouts see something in him, especially for someone his age.

I think a lot of people are curious if he'll actually turn into a top player, or just become another loan army guy at Chelsea. Sometimes these young defenders just never get their chance. If you ask me, you can't really know if a player is good until you see him in top league matches, but I do like his highlights. I've found that with new signings like this, patience is key, and you can't judge them just by their transfer story. Hope he gets real minutes next season, cause that's the only way we'll know for sure!
